Ducey, a village full of flowers

A river and a flowered city: welcome to Ducey

The village of Ducey, with the River Sélune flowing by, looks over the Bay of the Mont St-Michel and acts as a gateway to its memorable plains.

In centuries past, Ducey was a port where boatmen made use of the tides to come and go, before the harbour silted up. Remnants of Ducey's strategic and trading past include the Château des Montgommery and the old bridge, both from the 17th century. The place is now a charming tourist destination and full of flowers.
